E is for Experimental
In the interest of being a bit more experimental with my letters after a tutorial last monday I have created some letters out of gorgeous old style clip art which I found through google at http://www.aisling.net and that my tutor had uploaded to our blackboard site. Im really pleased with the results and think they break up and fit in nicely with the hand drawn display type.
Colour
Ok so after a tutorial on thursday, Im having a re-think about my colour scheme for my pdf and mixing in some brighter shades with my pastels as the general feedback is that there needs to be something bold to combine with the pastels. So I've created brighter tints of the pastels and hopefully that will make a difference, so that the viewer remains interested in the pdf, means I have to redo the order of colours for the main display background but oh well such is life!

Alrighty then
SOOOO after a tutorial yesterday it was decided that maybe I need to mix it up a bit with the techniques im using for my display letters in my pdf i.e try using collage, drawing things different sizes and blowing them up, different pens etc, But still keeping it black and white.
So this morning I have done two F's for Found, one created using some letter and number stickers I found among my equipment, the second by tracing around the first made of stickers.
I have made stop motion animations of
both these being created but I cant seem
to upload them, I really like the tracing
one though.

Contents page
So after a tutorial with Ben on Thursday it was suggested that for my contents page for my pdf I could do small icons which are sneak peaks of the title illustration for each letter, and can then be hyperlinked, no page numbers required! I thought this was a great idea so today I have done icons for the letters I have produced so far.
