This is another one of my final books I made for my foundation major project. The concept was In/Out, so I decided on not judging a book by its cover and re-worked and used old books to make new and interesting pieces. After shredding a Sweet Valley High book called "Dangerous Love" I then weaved together the pieces in a traditional style, then photocopied and screen printed the result. I experimented with different colours and over printing the image on top of each other, I also printed other words over the top. The "cover" of the book is made from hard board and wood with a hinge so it opens like a book, then hand painted.
